What do you reckon is the max. size boat for a car topper, for 2 people to handle.....fibreglass.Thanks

You need to know the weight mate.
Size doesn't matter. ;D
Get about 80 Kgs above two guys heads would go close to pulling ya up.

Whats wrong with alloy anyway? ???
You will get a lot bigger boat for the weight and money.
Only thing fiberglass I have seen on top of a car would be a canoe.

With a well setup rack 80kg is not out of the question (if vehicle can take it). I can get my 3.85 m on top of my Landy and it weighs about 72kg but I then need a cup of tea and a good lie down as it is hard yakka. The only glass boat I would consider would be an epoxy composite one.
