I'm undecided on which hull is the better. Looking at the Stessl 435 truck or the Bluefin warrior 4.50.

Both are 3mm plate.

The Warrior seems to have more options but the truck looks solid as and is like a blank canvas. It also has the edge track hull.

Any thoughts/experience would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

MAte has a 465 truck... Its a weapon... We had a rear thwart seat welded in and dropped a 70 2 stroke on it. Very stable hull with the trackrail system, especially at rest. Doesnt look all "bling" but its practical. Hull cost him about $5200 from memory.

I've got the Blue Fin Predator same hull as the Warrior only side console. It is a very, very solid hull and I am very happy with it.Well built and have had no problems. The boat has a 40h.p. Honda on the back and it has ample power to push her along.-Beatle

Thanks for all the views.

Was going for the truck but am alittle concerned about the amount of freeboard. Some of the pressed alis have higher sides.

The problem (maybe no prob) is with the warrior, is that I think the deck is only section welded where the truck is welded continiously. I like this feature as it stops salt water buildup and then corrosion. The warrior does seem like better value for money though.

I looked at nearly all the boats in this size range and ended up buying a Quintrex 450 Topender. You should have a look at one, I think they're the best of the bunch if you want an all rounder. If you're after a blank canvas to customise yourself, it's hard to go past the truck.
