when i was looking a few months ago I found the marine shop at springwood (springw**d Marine)the best for price. by the way the variations in price you get when you look around will blow you away

i priced alot of boat joints in brisbane when i bought my 65 pound bow mount and actually found mullet gut marine in toowoomba the best. I have used a fair few bow mounts with auto pilot and i find we never use it. It doesnt hold very well and with a foot control its better and easier to do it your self. I find my minn kota awsome and with 2 big batteries for the 24 volt it last for 2 days casting easy. I had to go the 54" shaft for my topender so it reached the water well.

Ps. I just checked my bias magazine and they have rt55/ap $1499 with 48" shaft and $1539 in 54" shaft.

Hey wamjam, i just my min kota riptide 55lb auto pilot from the naroomas ocean hut (the one on the big hill), what a great deal $1395 for the motor and the quick release plate only $105..i shopped around a fair bit as well....u wont beat that i dont think....darryl bond is the guys name number 02 44762278..check em out
