Bright orange hull, so if ever upturned it is easy to spot
yellow top easy to see
not my choices but probable the best colors for safety as thet are both easy to see at sea

Any colour, as long as the words "Help Me" are painted along the keel. The only time it will ever be seen is if the boat is belly up ;D

Black. Saw a black boat once looked awesome. Think it had a few ribbons of other colours on it towards the back, red and blue from memory.

Black hulls for trolling for sure. Dark coloured boats that come to mind that do well are Colorado and Pakula's Animal from the Gold Coast, Bad Billy from the Sunshine Coast and some mates of mine that painted a Seafarer in the ANSA colours of black and gold (black hull - gold trim and stripes) the Bullship.

Ever seen a shark with a dark belly? Why not? Camouflage is the answer. Paint the underside white
