poly boats

has anyone seen riden in or know anything about these boats they are made the same as poly tanks just after what everyone thinkswww.polycraft.com.au

Saw them at the Brisbane Tinne & Tackle show and had a chat to the salesman.

Interesting, but I'd wait a while and see how they go in the long term.

The biggest boat was only 4.5m too, but a 5+m was in the pipeline.

In some ways they'd be a great boat. Bounce over rocks and sticks, can't sink them, quiet. Interesting.

My uncle works at bushmans tanks in Dalby, they have a line of them out as far as I've heard they are all right . He was saying they're suppose to be unsinkable. If you'd like I can find out a bit more from him as I think he knows people who own them.

thanks all the more info the better they sound good they wont rot like glass ride better than tinny wont dint double hull hard to sink anyhow they more you can tell me the better thanks

Met some pro live-trout dory fishermen the other week. One boat is running them off Bowen. Look the goods but no good in that application. Too light to tow - blow all over the place and could potentially flip. Most dorys are going to glass for ride qualities and weight when towing.
