460 dory

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on the quintrex 460 dory ?

I'm looking at buying new with a 40hp mercury cv on a quintrex trailer, it looks like a fairly capable little boat.

has it got a 2 STROKE or a 4 STROKE engine.. it just a basic PUSH and PULL type engine ;)

p.s. pretty capable boat, Jeffo on this site has a 420 dory for sale with a 25.. and he's done a bit of blue water fishing in that, chasing sailfish and doing a bit of reef bashing around the sunshine coast here

a mate has a 420 Dory with a 40hp on the back, it is a nice boat and the motor pushes it along nicely. and thats with 3 men in it.

if you go the bigger boat it mite be and idea to get a bigger motor to push you along.

I had a 4.2m dory for about two & a half years and was a great rig. I'd imagine a 40/50hp would be more than ample to push along a 460.
