G'day On The Plane,I own an '02 115 saltwater with 200 hrs on it,hasn't missed a beat,my mate just got rid of his 115 with 400 hrs, also flawless(don't know model),local pro just upgraded his twin 115 saltwater's with over 600 hrs on them, The bloke that bought them seems happy with them. The only fault I've found is that they don't start as easy as some other motors,my mate found the same thing, not a drama when you get used to them.My opinion is these motors pack more of a punch of the mark than other 115's I have driven.I get about 24-25 litres per hour above 4500 rpm and about 18-20 litres per hour if I sit on 4-4200 rpm.

Had a 2000 mod. Merc.115 on a Haines 5.2 cuddy cab , absolutley beautiful motor plenty of power and very economical . Decided on the Merc 115 because the local pro. fisher used them and bought Merc. 115's for years , and he went outside every day through a very dangerous bar.- Beatle [smiley=beatnik.gif]
