Transom rot

Who would know what it would cost to replace a transom in a 21 foot 1984 model caribbean reefrunner, mine is starting to get soft in places.

Hi, Depends where you are. My brother had a new transom put in his 25 year old Haines for about $2,250. He is in Townsville so probably no help to you.

Not a bad do it yourself job if you are a bit handy with tools, plenty of help from some of us here that have tackle the job before. Be prepared to replace stringers and parts of floor, from past experience there may be some softness unseen in them places too
