i use mine about once a week when weather good in winter.
2-3 times a week in summer, again weather permiting.
the only thing to decide is which boat and fresh or salt. [smiley=help.gif]

I'll assume you are talking about boats here? About 30 times a year and 130 hrs for me.

About every two weeks and about 40hrs per year has been my average over last two years. Not enough.

About once a week on average, but then again if there on I will go out several days in a row. Judging on the last couple of months, I will average over 200hr a year (this could blow out big time,if its not broke)

The other responses ref hours clocked have got me thinking? How'd I clock up 250hrs in less than 2 yrs with this boat? Only been offshore 3 times, don't troll, and don't seem to move around much as I always seem to have a game plan and stick with it. Sometimes I don't get out for 3 weeks and I've never been out more than once in one week (except when camping at Pin). Those hours on the clock seem a bit excessive?

cheers

Kev,
I made the mistake one day of leaving the ignition on (without motor running), running up the hours on the clock without actually running the motor :-/ Maybe this has happened to you??

That will do it

geez i'v never really looked to much at my hour meter ::)
i'd have a guess at (sea boat) just under 100 hours running a year (many more hours just sitting there fishing ;D)
but the bass/bream boat would easly be are 150 hours a year and about the sam for the leccy ;D

Nope. I remove the key the moment I finish with it. If I leave it on. or knock it accidently, when fishing, the clock gives out a loud tick that acts as a reminder to switch off.

I'm at least once a week, 130 hrs in the first 6 months on my 115 Optimax. Bugger all trolling but I chase the Macs and Tuna with Metals.
Might have to get a bit more conservative, can't afford too many services in one year :P.

I think I have sex more often than I go boating :(

Might get lucky tomorrow! ;D

Fitted the new sounder a month ago and still have not got it wet (the boat that is...)
