I am trying to insure my Haines V17L Essential not Comprehensive cover suncorp wont to know age of boat , if over 15 years old have to get surveyed at a cost ? any advice

a quick shop around and read the fine print :o :o :o . i've had a eletric short on mine and racq didn't cover the radio as they said it was the cause .i'm now with cgu
