Just go the the Garmin web site and you can download the manual for that model if you have not got it.

http://www.garmin.com/products/manual.jsp?product=010-00157-00

Best place to pick up an aerial maybe Johnny Appleseed GPS at Annerley.

I've got a 128. Easy to use. Just read the manual & sit in front of it for an afternoon with a beer on the water.

Easy as. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

HI FATTY. YOUVE DONE WELL. I HAVE A 120 GARMEN CAN,T FAULT IT. SOMETIMES FISH WITH MATES THAT HAVE 128 GARMENS, A BIT MORE UPDATE THAN MINE, BUT SAME READOUT, IT SHOULD COME WITH A MANUAL. IF YOUR UNCLE HAS BEEN USEING IT ALL THE BETTER, HE CAN SET YOU ON THE RIGHT TRACK. ALL THE BEST, KEVY. :D :D :D

Make sure you have a sober driver for the boat. You wouldn't want to get the hang of the GPS only to find you're not able to drive the boat for 9mths or so from loss of licence. Worse still, if the unthinkable happens...enough said!

You'll find the Garmin relatively easy to use. All the best.

Woooohhhha

Hunt around mate, you'll get the arial for much cheaper than that. www.ga-gps.com sells the GA29 antenna for $140.00

Now, whats these cards you talking about? The 128 doesn't take cards......???

might be worth a trip to the vicky point vmr boaties market,
antennas can be cheap when some buggers pinched the head unit.

My 128 certainly doesn't take any cards as well. USB you can download points of interest in the USA ( handy that is) no cards though Fatty.
