hey everyone.

My throtol on my boat is very stiff to push foward. we have taken it apart and checked it all out and put a bit of grease in the cable but its still pretty bad. if anyone could give me advice on how to fix it that'd be great. i might just need to get a new throtol cable :-/ :-/.,

Scott,

Is it just stiff to get out of neutral, or is it stiff the whole way? I've found my lever is stiff to push it into forward, but once in, its easy to accelerate/decelerate/etc....

take the cable off the linkage at the engine and try it to see if the problem is at the cable or the engine linkage. Mine was actually a linkage adjustment problem.
