It's like comparing Apples to Oranges.

What do you intend to use it for?

I own a 600 Explorer Cruise Craft & also fish every now n then out of a Haines 580 Breeze.

Both boats are great.

Once you knuckle down on exactly what you want out of the boat, then you'll get some specific answers I reckon.

We to have the 620sf, and have no complaints either, its a great boat and does the offshore work that we do with ease. but like everyone else, theres nothing between them i suppose it comes down to price and extra's.

I agree with the other guys..get what best suits you,
both boats are great boats...I am a bit of a Haines
fan,but wouldnt say no to an "Outsider".
I was coming back through some ruff stuff
at Hervey Bay early last week & there was an
"outsider" just off to port..not sure what size
it was,but it was doing it easy...

For that sort of dough i'd be buying a Haines Signature 630f or the 2003 boat of the year,Haines Signature 600RF.

You can find both for about 50k,near new.

Signature still have the best re-sale value on the market.

Hi,

I have had a Haines 580 Breeze for 2 yrs now, fished up to 50 fathoms off the Gold coast in comfort. I now have 287hrs on it.

You can view it here

Troy, spend some time in both. I spent alot of time searching for mine, JD had to put up with a few trips out with me going on and on about what I wanted and what I had found.
I spent half a day out in the 580 Breeze, and then a few hours in the Cruise Craft. I found the Haines rocked and rolled to much for me, and it was to low to the water.
The Cruise Crafts are a big boat for there size. It's your choice, choose wisely, it's alot of money to spend.
As far a retail is concerned, both were the same, I was looking at new and second hand and found the retail for either one was identical.
In the end, the Haines just didn't do it for me, each for their own, take your time and do some test driving.

Good Luck,
Corry

PS. Please don't anyone take this to heart, this is my opinion only.
