Hi,
I have a 25HP johnson short leg, the only number I can find on it is a small silver disk on side cover A7601242, no model number or name plate. I would appreciate any help indentifying this motor. It has a gold coloured cowling with the markings 25 "General" on the back and a red seahorses head on the front belwo "Johnson". it has what seems like a primer button on the control panel, the stop button, and emergency cutout ripcord. Also theres a bracket which is above the carburator and moves with the accelorator which has the part number 396154 thats all I have to go on. it is recoil start, not electric. I would like a workshop manual for it, but which one?
