Has anyone repowered from an older engine to a newer with approx the same HP. I am wondering the differences in fuel usage.
I know old engines were mainly carb, now you have EFI, ETEC, 4strokes etc.
Eg. 55hp 1977 to 60hp 1999 ETEC = about 25% (random number) fuel saving
