saw this doco on the discovery channle the other night about logging in canada
they fill huge barges (size of a tanker) ten storeys high with logs and to get the loogs off they just sink one side of the barge till it capsizes
what was even better was how they load them
well it is with two craines (yeh ok that not so intesting) but they use these little tug type boat called dozer boats that are only 18foot long and nothing more than a engine encolsed in steel
they push these bundles of trees around that would be over 20tons each and have the steern sunk in water pushing them and looked that unstable they were rolling atleast 30* each way
