Registering 2ndHand Trailer Vic

Hey guys.

In the next week I plan to have a 2nd-hand trailer registered at Vic Roads. FYI it's a light weight 12ft trailer.

Does anyone have any advice on what the main pitfalls are as far as the inspection goes? What they mainly look for?

The trailer itself doesn't have any lights, instead I plan to use a lightboard. Is this acceptable to the Vic Road guys?

I registered my trailer sometime ago but it had to have a weigh bridge certificate, a compliance plate fitted by the manufacturer and they will check the lights and tyres.

You will probably have to make a booking.
