Painting Poly

I have a blue poly eskie I want to paint white.

Has any one attempted to paint poly before as it seems to me that the paint won't stick properly.

What sort of surface prep is necessary.
I will probably hit it with 2 pack.

I remember reading on here somewhere someone doing soomething to a oly boat to get stickers to stick properly

go to an auto parts shop and get plastic primer for painting mirrors etc

I painted a mates boat with the stuff. He didnt want to go to the trouble of using a primer, so he rubbed it back with an orbital ( about 240 I think, then I made him rub it back by hand with 400.

I put two coats over the top, letting the first coat go off first. Dont apply too much as this stuff love to run after you have sprayed it.

Come up a treat with an off the gun shine

Make sure you have full overalls and a proper breathing apparatus, apparently its not real good for you
