planning a club trip launching from this boat ramp. I know there is a low bridge to go under to get out into the Brisbane River. Will we be able to get 6m cuddies under this bridge at high tide? launching 3pm on Sat the 16th April.
Thanks,
Jeremy

you'll fit under, just put your aerials down

According to the Beacon to Beacon directory, the high tide clearance height for that bridge is 2.3m

I have always got under in mine. #As said previously, make sure you put your aerials down first though. #If the tide is really that high, you could always head south through the passage and out into the bay between St Helena and Green as well. #The tide is fairly small that day anyway - 1.32 m

Jeremy,
You may have seen my boat with the bloody great radar on top - she's high enough as it is without the radar but the pimple add another 2-3 foot.
I get clearance of 50cm or so even at high tide so you should be right.

Great, that settles it! By the way, the trip is a shark tagging trip with boats going up the river or out in the bay. Launch at 3 pm and back at 9 pm. Anyone wants to 'tag' along or say g'day please do so.
