Hey guys I'm looking to step into the proper world of fishing and get off these f***ing jetties to catch myself some real fish.
I'm looking at something I can tow behind a 6cyl VT commodore, can sleep overnight so prob cuddy cab or similar to fish Port Phillip and or Western Port Bays
Any suggestions for something 2nd hand round the $15,000 - $20,000 dollar mark??

A Haines Signature 493f can be had for that sort of dollars.
Be quick if you see a good one cause it won't last long.
don't forget to check yalta's 189 or better still a
2000 odessa. get the motor checked thoroughly.

Thanks for the help so far.
I saw a Haines Hunter 495Breeze brand new for 26,500 with a 90hp Johnson 4 on the back, does anyone have any idea what these boats are like? Is this a good deal? (I think it also had a cheap sounder, a trailer, nav lights and safety gear thrown in.)

Hey,
Good boats all mentioned above.
The Haines is cheap, IF it is new. If its from Terrace Boating beware. If it checks out, its a good package.

Haines Traveller have a couple of good entry level boats around the $30k with 4 stroke donks. Check them out!
