anybody point me in the direction of a repairer / fabricator of drive shaft for my inboard? Yes I did run aground at full tilt but boy did that motor sing over the shallows just before the emergency brakes hit lol
You live and learn

Thanks

Most people that are compenent with a lathe will be able to straighten it for you, take it to your local engineering shop

hows ya prop, just been in the shed fixing 2 of mine, just figured that the people I was paying to do the job had no more skills than me, not saying it will be a "SOLAS" repair but ok for spares

I just made a template of the good blade and made the other 2 suit the original, it will never be a good prop but will get me home if needed. I am still trying and playing with props to try and prop the boat better. Currently looking for a 13 1/4 x 17p to suit a 115 merc to try ATM dont want to buy new to try but will by second hand at the right price. When I am happy woth choice I will buy a new one
cheers
