hey everyone ,

im looking at doing a bit of a clean up on my glassy if anyone knows a site for fibreglassing and what paint to use would be great and can you sand or bead blast a fibreglass boat

Yes you can sand a Glass boat without any drama. I would talk to Arnolds Fibreglass is BrisVagas...they will give great advice, talk to Arnold or Benny..Both top blokes who are always happy to help. They only do things the right way..deffintely not over-rated surf board repaires'. I learnt my lesson from dealing with shonks!

Rye once you paint a glass boat there is almost no going back, if the gell is not very thin or heavily damaged and down to the glass you may be able to save it.

just seen one the other day that had a new coat of gelcoat sprayed on, they tell me all you need is a gravity fed gun with a bigger nozzle. come up a real treat
