90hp e-tech or 115hp 4stk yammie

Hi guys,

I'm getting a new 4.7m glass bass/bream boat and am trying to decide on a motor.

I would love the new 115hp etech but thats at least 6-8 months away and my boat is ganna be ready in 4-8 weeks.

So what would you do and why?

Go the 115 Optimax Mercury - Power with great Economy.
It is lighter than the Yammie and the 115 E-tech.

What is your Max Horse-Power for the 4.7 Fibreglass :o :o ??

I would go the 115 4 stroke...2 reasons. They have been around for yonks and I do not know of many complaints about the engine, secondly..the average "punter" knows what a 4stroke is and its proven reliability, therfor its resale value is better in the long run.

Havent had much experience with either but from what ive read and learnt from dealers, go the 90etec or as craigie said the 115 optimax. Merc seem to have sorted all the problems found in a few of the earlier models.
