looking to perchase , NO MOTOR as it blew a hole in no:3 piston running lean. I think ?
Anyway comes with 5100 navman gps, sounder "brand ? cant remember, live bait tank, cutting board, dual battery, beilge pump, covers, solar trickle charger, 27M radio, flares and life jackets,
Ya,s recon its worth $4,500 then the cost of a new 90hp yammy fitted $8,500

Wondering wich way is best way to go.

check for rot in the transom and floor is there is none it would be a good cheap boat with the safety of a new motor. just remember to check dates on flares and extras like that otherwise you will have to add the cost of those items to the end cost to judge if its worth it to you.

Assuming everything else is in good working order, $13,000 for a large boat with all the extras fitted and a new motor, seems pretty good to me.

Not so confusing now. So you own this boat and just bought a southwind 655 after searching for a SF17 and you are now trying to sell this boat which you ridiculed about (no space for more than 2) in your southwind post?

its a good boat or should i say hull but ya cant fish more than 2 from it.

Brad thats a nice 655 you just bought, looks like the carbie problems you mentioned came back with extra bite in number 3 cyl :o. gotta hate that! Definitely a sacrificial way to justify the need for a bigger boat to the wife :-X glad it worked for you ;D
