and do either of you have answers that are longer than 4 letters?

I think there are pros and cons for both glass boats and tinnies.

a tinny is better because it is chaeper to get a good tinny then it is to get a good f/g. Also you don't need a f/g baot for creek and river fishing you only really need them if you are playing around the bay and out wide where you want a smooth ride.

Tiny cause when you run aground and you will there is less to damage! Tinnies are especially easier to handle and your not affraid to dirty them up!

On the other hand glass boats are a lot less noisey and if the fish are a bit spooked you will sneek better in a glass boat. Pro's and cons for both

tinny or poly
both are goodstrong boats that you can knock around and drag u[ onto the ramps
also weights less so less horsepower needed and less fule used
glass is good but only over a certion size IMHO
noise is nothing on a river that has next to no chop and a electric on the bow ;)

Tinny, more durable by far, cheaper to run. If you have superb ramps or sand nearby, maybe ' glass if you don't mind paying for the privilage. Cheers and good luck!
