Can't decide which sounder

Hi there everyone,
I'm looking at putting either a koden cvs-118 colour or furuno fcv-600l colour sounder into my 5.3m half cabin. Any input on these sounders would be greatful.

Ihave a 600l on my boat{233haines}it's a top little sounder dos'nt take long to get used to it .Igot mine off john palermo he aslo gives u tips and shows u the features{he spent over 1 hour with me} i also got it cheaper thru him.

From wat ive seen an heard I wouldnt touch NAVMAN gear with a 40 ft pole.

why is that I have been playing with the idea of a fishfinder 4200 with fuel monitors for my shark cat. pretty interested to hear some cons with respect to Navman systems

Looking for something that sees fish and can zoom in on say the bottom 25% of water with accuracy at the 20 to 100 metre ranges

Still looking..... mainly Furuno I'm thinking....... even though my old Humminbird LCR400 ID was not bad

See Angla's post.Mate bought a 4500 FF and a gps.as i said not worth 2 knobs of D/S. same reasons as above.be very carefull and research items.

Very happy with my Furuno - would not hesitate to recommend. Still getting used to it in the deeper waters but an awesome unit. Went the Furuno after talking with many fisho's, both regular and guides.
