GPS help

I checked out some old threads regarding buying a GPS. It seems there is alot of division out there on which brand to go with. The most relevant thread I could find was an older one, so I'm looking for some updated advise on what to go for.

I'm looking to go handheld and spend around $300 - $400. So far I'm looking at either the Garmin GPS 72 or 76 or the Lowrance iFinder/Pro.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a Garmin GPS 72 its a good little unit and easy to use I also brought a PC lead for it which makes it easy to enter all you marks in
