Above is my trim/tilt pump. Where on it is the bloody filler plug ?? :-/ The only damage from my trailer problems last weekend, seems to be a damage oil seal on the trim. I need to top up the oil.

Sorry, you are looking at the pump side on. the plate on the right is bolted to the transom. Hence the square plug is on the lower part of the front face (sits horizontal)

Could be that it is also a drain plug, and that you need to have the motor off the transom as you have, to fill it????

Bungie
looks similar to the old trim pump from my old boat Mercury trim/tilt. If it is there is a screw on the top... From your pic and if i'm looking at it right, looks to be a screw at the red tape, where it runs to the left. where all the sratches are on the unit. This is in the same place as my old one. Is this clear as mud or what.

Guys i brought the same as propdinger a container of AFT, then went to the hardware brought some smaller clear hose placed it inside the long tube of the container then taped the smaller hose in place. Place the smaller hose into the trim pump sit down and keep an eye out till she's full. Not the most prettiest contraption but works an absoulte treat.
