Boat Storage

Buying a new boat in the next few months (up to 6.5m on trailer) but unfortunately don't have the room to store it at my place.
Any suggestions on places to store it around the Brisbane area, and a rough estimate of cost?

The boat/yacht club at Scarborough has places ina locked up fence you can store your boat. Not sure on pricing though.

Talk to "Sunny" on here as he keeps his there. I'm sure that most boating clubs will have storage available.

Andy, was good timing to ask the question because I was helping out a relative yesterday moving some furniture into storage at one of those secure storage places that are all over the place. Anyway, also parked in the compound were 2 large boats. As well as a half dozen trailers. These people must just pay a flat fee to be able to park their boats in there. Is very secure. You need a card to be able to open the automatic secure gate etc....

This particular one was on Bohles Rocks Road Kalangar, but they are everywhere. Some may not have spare parking spots, but worth ringing around.

Don't know about Brisbane, but I enquired a while back here in Gladstone, and they were looking for around $60/month for standard storage outdoors, you pick up and drop off when you like, and you have to clean it yourself.
The dry storage here also has the option of have them drop it in the water for you, fully fueled, and all you do is step off the pontoon onto the boat and take off. When you return, you tie up to the pontoon and go home and they pull it out of the water for you, clean it down and store it away.
Good option if you have the money, not sure what it way, I couldn't justify it for a trailerable boat.
