I have just bought a 385 Edgetracker tournament (about 6 six years old) without a motor, would a Yamaha 20hp 2s push it along alright with not much gear and 2 people? Hoping for around 20-25 knots. Also any idea how to get totally ??? rusted bolts off the trailer?

Not sure on the motor, but 20HP sounds just a little small... There are guys on here that will answer that better though...

The simple answer for you rusted bolts is hacksaw... The more fun answer is ANGLE GRINDER!!! ;D

a 20hp would be ok however i have a quinny 385 exploere throphy with a 25hp merc on the back and although it does the job pretty well i would love to put a 30hp as i think this is the best size for the sized boats

Yeah - I'd go something like a 30hp aswell. I have a 4.0m edgetracker with a 20hp on it. I converted it to a 25hp but I'd still like a 30hp at least and a 385 isn't that much different.

It's ok for only maybe two people and a bit of gear, but as soon as you start loading it up with people or gear they bog down too much. I can get about 26 knots out of my 25hp with 1 person, about 24 with two people and gear. But it'd be nice to have that extra little bit of grunt..
