LPG and boat motors

Can they be used together or are there issues? (fuel lines, compatability, etc)

Nobody has any thoughts? I'd have thought someone would have tried it with the 4 strokes. ???

maybe some of the issues are,
a 60l gas cycinder wieghs a lot more than a 60l fuel tank
need to heat the gas covertor to stop freezing .
around 10 to 15% power loss, so to get the same prop hp the outboard may be heavier
but I got no idea

I have to wonder though, if petrol hits $2 a litre in a year or so and LPG is sitting at 45 cents, surely someone is going to give it a go. (6m+ boat just to cope with the extra weight).
