Just starting a new topic to find out who has the best deals around. I would like to know what I would pay for an E-Tec 90, my local dealer said $12000 fitted but I'm sure there are better deals going around.
SO, for any-one else in the market just let them know where, what size motor and how much you paid.
Give a dealer a plug and maybe this will start a bit of a price war ?
It can only benefit US !!!

I think you will find $12,000 fitted is a competative price.

I made a mistake .... that was for a 75 E-Tec fitted. But the idea of this post was for any size motor and how much you paid. There are many others like me who have no idea what motors are worth. It something the boat shops don't advertise. Maybe there is some-one who wants to know how much about a Yamaha 300 V-Max is worth ?

Hi rummy1
Am in the market for a new 2stroke 90hp myself. Have narrowed it down to a Tohatsu or a Jono. It will be interesting to see what this thread pulls.

Cheers

That,s if any-one replies. Are you after a direct injection 2 stroke or a normal 2 stroke ?

My Father was quoted $5200 for a fitted 40hp with P'tilt and trim, base model the other day. The prices are never advertised though. You have to do the ring around. It's a waste of time when you first start looking because you don't know whether to ask for the price in a 4 stroke fitted or a 2 stroke and then what sized motor you can afford to buy too. If you had a ball park figure it would make life easier. One thing he found out though, some of the fitted prices for second hand are just as much as new.

Hey Guys,

Years ago, i paid $11k for a 140hp Mercury from Nitro Marine on the Gold Coast. I have since seen them advertised cheaper.

Satisfaction marine at Labrador has a 140hp Suzuki 4 banger for $13790.00. They used to advertise their prices on their website, but got in trouble. Im sure they still have the Tohatsu prices there.

Regards

Darren
