Hey Guys,

Considering buying one of these beasts.

Does anyone have any comments on ride, usability or anything in general?

Regards

Darren

Hey Darren, does this boat have the name Patriot Games on it. If it does I know this boat.

Hey Ron,

No it doesn't, but I have seen that one for sale in Cairns also. Couldn't afford to run those twin 225's!

Thanks for your earlier advice, I have followed it and very happy so far. Nice guys, good prices from both.

Regards

Darren

Yeh Darren, I think that has turned a few people of the boat. I have spent a bit of time in a 8mtr Haines Horizon. Same hull but with a full cabin. I can tell you this is one hell of a good boat. Have been in it in 30knot south easters and while it was a bit of a rough ride not once did it feel unsafe. The hull never put a foot wrong. Can't give you any fuel comparisons as this thing is fitted with twin 200hp Verados. Boy are those things good on fuel. Anyway best of luck with it all.

Cheers Ron

Being over 8 metres in length why are they ony 2.5 metres wide? Are they a little on the light side for an 8m boat.

If you were fishing in the cockpit it would be a long way out and around the props on the outboards. You'd probably end up fishing on the boarding platform area most times wouldn't you?
