Hi, just enhancing 88f's response:

Site for Navman2100 fuel flow meter: http://www.navman.com/marine/products/fuel/fuel2100/index.html

Site for Naveman Manual:http://www.navman.com/marine/support/manuals/index.html

I have just purchased one and is half installed! I hope to improve fuel performance and tilt settings. Would be interested in other people experience in use of this device!
Cheers

I run a Yamaha 130 Saltwater Series [2004 model], before fitting a 2100 I estimated I was using around 30L per hour on a normal run of 25K cruise, 6K troll and a couple of blasts around 38k's. After fitting a 2100 I could clearly see my fuel usage at different speeds / revs. A normal trip now has me using closer to 20L per hour all up - and I don't open her up to WOT as much any more ! Highly recommend the 2100 but I would also be interested to hear of other members with experience in other fuel monitoring devices in other brands. ;D

WOW 88, thats an awesome saving ..... gotta go rush out and finish installing mine ... should pay for itself in no time .... bought it at whitworths for $255 when they had their recent 15% off sale (which I foundout on AUSFISH .... makes it worthwhile being on Ausfish eh ;D). It should pay for itself in 3 trips only .......
I have a 6.3m glass with a thirsty 175HP 2 stroke Jono. Currently I use between 20-30 liters per hour or more accurately 1.1 - 1.3 liters per Km.
Also last time got back to the ramp with a wing and a prayer with about 3l petrol to spare .... cutting it a bit fine - on a full 210l tank full ..... but no more .. ma new navman will tell me how many teaspoons left!!!!! ::)
Cheers

PS I will post some figures on any difference using my naveman fuel flow meter makes on my next trip
