Looks like a V17 to me. A bit shallow for the 19.

Looks like one of the v19 centre consoles that they (Haines) did up for the VMR's, The giveaway is the centre console - big boxy and stand behind.....post a pic of the stern to know for sure. #I have some photos of another one at work if you want me to send them to you as a comparison? If I remember rightly most of these ended up wearing pods although don't know exactly why? Marvelous hull.....

Chine setout looks like v19, however the stern section looks like it may be a chop job - believe the factory cc's were all podded, but have been wrong before...
Having trouble posting pics

Talk to Haines Hunter at Yatala. They are usually more then helpful with stuff like that.

No way haro,

Too big 4 a 17 footer. looks like a V19. Is that a 150 or 200 marina?

I reckon she'd chew the juice :-?

Cheers,

Geez Haro,

The suspense is killing me. When are we gunna know whether it's a 17 or 19?

The hull shape certainly looks the same as my old haines (1985 model) but I'd still go with the punt of a V19 tho. #:-?

Still waiting,
Tony # 8-)

Yes Tony, you are right! it was a 17footer, its now on its way back to sydney. I bought it sight unseen as a 6mt, but it lost some length on the way down.
Thanks for all the responses fellas

Hey,

Not sure if its any help to you, but on the trading post website there is a v19 centre console Haines with the same engine going for $6000. It says the boat is located on the Gold Coast.

Hi Steve, that was the same boat I think. Lies lies and more lies.

At least that boat has the right size now.

I was happy to clear that up for the $660 freight cost (not)!!

Cheers
