When doing some major changes to my 3.85m Quintrex Explorer ( removal of seats, installation of flat foor casting platforms, side console etc) I have lost the compliance plate that was attached to the rear of back seat. Can i apply for a new one? are they essential? Any suggestions appreciated

I dont believe you will. I just registered an old boat as a brand new one and a plate was not required.
