Ok guys I have the green light for a sounder could anyone tell me of some good ones sub $700 thank alot for the help

For around 500 nicker- Lowrance 126DF. Good allround sounder for the amature fisho with good power.
For a bit less- Even recomend the Furuno 4100 DF.
This will give you change for a new rod/reel or a handheld GPS.

Garmin FF250 and buy a new reel with your change. Or the Garmin GPSMAP178 Fishfinder/GPS combo :)
