Anybody used the new Hydraflex kit from Hydrive yet? It consists of a stainless cable and an internally mounted hydraulic ram which is then mounted to a normal hydraulic helm. Looks like a reasonable saving over other systems.

I'm considering fitting it to my Polycraft.

Do Hydrive make it or Seastar? I'm in the market for new steering myself ...

I see. Just got a bit more info on it ... Hydrive Bosun series HydraCable.

Curious.

Never seen it but I think it's a good idea, no more steering helm slackness with the feel of a hydraulic system.
It would be a REALLY good idea if the turns lock to lock are lower than say a baystar setup.
