I'm in the process of fitting a Fibreglass Bait Board to my Hooker and an looking for ideas on how to mount it to the boat above the motor. So if any one has a good setup on their boat feel free to post some pictures.
Thanks

Above the motor - Immediately I visualised a bait board mounted on top of the outboard cowling :)
I wonder if that would work??
A smallish bait board shouldn't interfere with tilting the motor all the way up.
You wouldn't want to do it on a newish motor though - also, it would probably look a bit odd.
Hmmm.

Here's a couple of pics of the board i made and mounted using the existing ski pole. I didn't want to modify the boat to keep the resale value.

I bought it in Bankstown (Sydney Metro) form Palstix http://www.plastix.com.au/index.html
The sheet is called High Density Polyethylene (HDPE)

I screwed most of it together and only used Sikaflex where i needed it sealed ie bait hatch and the back of the board.
