Transom Mount Electric Motors

I have heard that Transom Mount electric motors can be changed into Bow Mounted electrics with the addition of a bracket to the front of a tinnie.

Has anybody done this?
Has anybody got a design that they would like to share?

I've done it on my Polycraft 4.1 and it was very successful. I got an aluminium welder to make up a bracket for the motor to clamp onto. I had to attatch a strip of aluminium to the bracket to act a lip as the clamps tended to lift with the power of the motor (the bracket being on an angle encouraged this).
