Hi all, #first time post and i thought all the people at ausfish might be able to help me. # :-?
Im planning to do a centre concole conversion on a half cab and am undecided on the hull design to start with, haines or seafarer. #looking at around the 17foot range, v17c or a ventura both the boats have there pros and cons,

haines, pros great ride in most conditions, ease to find, great local name and resale value
# # # # # cons not good at rest, wet?

seafarer, pros, good at rest?,
# # # # # # #cons, may pound in rough conditions?

my main fishing is done chasing game fish and casting lures on light gear, the boat will be powered by a 115 4 stroke needs to carry 200 litres of fuel and a lot of rods and gear,
any advice would be great

P.S. want to stick with glass.

Why do you want to do the conversion yourself? To save money or to get exactly what you want? Haines do make (or used to) a few centre console models.
