View Full Version : Excellent service from BLA for stuffed Humminbird.

Gidday all.
My X-mas break was a shocker for electronics.
The new Humminbird 2005 deep worked for about 3 1/2 minutes then packed it in.
Rang BLA about it Tuesday morning. Delivered it for repair Tuesday smoko time and had a phone call first thing Thursday to pick it up. You beauty ;D ;D
They even gave me a couple of stickers and told me what the problem was.
Time for a field test tomorrow down the pin way. Taking the cook and the monster in law for a fish. ;)
There has been a lot said here about bad service lately so here's one for the good end of the spectrum.

I had a similar experience about 18 months ago (gee time flies) bought a matrix 55 and after 1 month it would intermitantly drop the gps.

Sent it back to bla and the report comes back "Unable to reproduce fault, have replaced GPS in case of intermitant fault"

Now you can't ask for much more than that.
