Used Yamaha 60

I'm wanting to upgrade to a 4-stroke and the local dealer has a Yamaha 60hp going for $5500.00. It was a commercial engine and has 900 hours on it. Is this a) a reasonable price and b) are the hours anything to worry about?
Any ideas?

no mate thats not a good deal.if you are in sydney , a shop in botany named sea sea marine had an 03 model 60 yammie with 35 hours on it for the same money.that was about 12 months ago,give him a call and see what he`s got

Not sure about the Yammies but just recently I fitted a couple of Hondas...both 90hp's one went for $7.5K and the other $7K both had hours around the 500 mark
