Hull Configurations vs Ducer Locations

Hi Team!

Firstly, diff between planning and displacmeent hull?

Is the Haines 530 SLR 1989 fglass model a plan. or displ. hull?

What location of transducer is suited to both these hull configs?

i.e. (Transom, shott-thru, In-Hull, etc..)

it is a planning hull. it should go about half way between the motor and the side of the boat so that it is level with the water and sticking just below the hull . there should be instruction with the sounder.
