thinking of repowering a Swiftcraft Seagull.maybe twin 65's.any one have any data on maximum transom weight load for these boats or info on where to obtain same?

Why would you want to put new twins on that old banger?
12-15k get ya real good haines with not so old motor.
Will go past ya at 1/4 throttle,sitting down,beer in hand in metre chop.
trust me ..owned both

thank,s Davo.I agree.Boats not mine.Posted enquiry for a mate.Loves his old swifty.told him he has too much free money,but his choice. what can you do.

What can you do?
Whack him on the back of the head, get a firm grip on
his right hand earlobe, take him down to the nearest
boatyard, and show him what his excess "free money"
will buy these days....
He might even get a decent trade-in on the swiftie.

the old swifties were very flat in the bottom, hardly call it a v.
spend money else where or just up date with a bit later single engine.
