I am looking to get some mudgaurds made up for my single axle boat trailer and get them welded on as well.
I live at Redland Bay does anyone know of any places around that could help me out?

Careful about welding.

We took a boat out two weeks ago and the leafsprings on the trailer broke, causing the tyre to rub against the mudguard. Short term solution - removed the mud guard to save the tyre.

Being able to remove the mudguard is important. Consider a fibreglass moulded mudguard that bolts on to the trailer, still removable, and easy to make up / order

You can buy pre made ones from boating shops

Thanks for your help. I have checked the ones in the shop but they don't fit my trailer. Hoping to find somewhere that can make them up for me.
