:-/I have a Breeze 495 purchased new June 2005 for about $30k. Is a great riding boat, dry and soft riding..BUT...have to say I am a bit dissapointed in build quality...flowcoat sprayed over seats, stainless fittings-screws and hinges rusting, misalignment of deck over hull...windscreen 20ml different one side to other and most recently and concerning..20c size bits of gelcoat flaking off boat where it sits on rollers on McKay trailer..I treat it gently like a baby but dunno...have a close look at build quality and attention to detail..........maybe I am too picky with detail......it was my first new boat.

Had my breeze since dec 2002,

been a great boat, I believe you would have a model with 5 year warranty(if you bought it on a haines recognised trailer) other wise only 1 year.

I got no problems with 430 hours on it :)

Hi Seahorse

I've got a 510 Breeze (cuddy cab) purchased in Jun'04 with a 90hp 4 stroke. Absolutely no problems with the hull/fittings/finish to date and I don't expect there will be. Build quality appears to be top notch. I have a Redco Sportsman trailer (supplied with the boat/motor/trailer package).

:) :)

The Breeze 470 came a close second to the Signature 460DF I bought last year. It's not quite as flashy as the Signature but in a number of ways it would have made the better *fishing* boat.

I never took it for a test drive, but you'd need a bit of extra power than the Signature requires (the Breeze is a bit heavier).

We're happy with our choice though I didn't see much wrong with the 470...

Good luck,
Mike
