G'day folks,

After any info, comments/feedback good or bad on a coupla boats I'm looking at, from those that have owned them or been out in them etc.

1. (year unknown, same as pic) Haines Signature 470F, 70hp. What size is the cuddy (sleepable? haven't seen it yet), realistically how many adults would be comfortable fishing in it, what would be a good (fair) price for it?

2. 2002 Stessco Funseeker 485, 50hp Honda 4 stroke. What would be a good (fair) price for it?

Which one would be the best for overnight trips in QLD bays.

Thanks for the help.
Haines Signature 470F looks exactly the same as this one (Allniters old boat, but not this one, just stole his pic.)

Having had a boat of same length I would think 2 persons fishing comfortably.
And both too short to sleep comfortably.

I've got a 460DF (it replaced the 470F). Seabug's correct on both counts.

Good luck,
Mike

I have a Signature 492F (2.89m Length) and would say fishes 2 really well 3 (one out the front hatch which is comfortable as you site on the front deck), 4 a bit tight but do-a-bull

As for sleeping, trying to talk someone into it but as stated the berths are a bit short if like me your 6'3". I can sit on the berths without hitting my head on the roof as there is ample head room.

Cost wise, the 492F c/w 85 Suzuki, cost me $16K last Xmas and the boat was in as-new condition with only 234h on the clock (genuine as I knew the owner).

Thanks for the replies, the Stessco sounds like a better boat, later model, more deck space etc.
