Hey all,

I have an old sailboat which is ply-glassed over and i want to repaint it from the deck up.. at the moment the old paint is housepaint - i think - and it rubs off on my feet and hands The main cabin on the outside has other paint which is cracked and uneven. I want to sand the whole lot and start from scratch.
Any suggestions regarding the type/s of primer/undercoat and topcoat/s ??

Thanks

Simon

International do a range of paint called "Perfection".

It's a 2Pac paint that you apply with a roller & a paint brush using a "roll n tip" method. Whitworths has it, as do a few other places. A few people have used it, and the quality looks good enough that I bought some to do my boat.

Whitworths will have a free information DVD about it. Hopefully it'll help.
