Adam,

Every case should be judged on it's merits however I think you should read this article and you will find some excellent advice on what to look out for when buying a second hand boat.

I actually bought one from a mate of mine a couple of months ago
I think it is a great boat, 96 model with a 115hp 2 stroke suzuki
goes great , we do most fishing out of Newcastle and handles bad days no
probs (don't go out on really bad ones though - tend to burley a bit hard)
You from newcastle aren't you (I live in elermore vale)
post your ph number and I'll give you a ring,
let you know about mine and might be able to take you for a fish so you
can have a look at the rig in action - best way to test drive is for a whole day
on the water

Thanks guy's, that all sounds good.
It seems Mad Turk's problems are all to do with the inboard, i wish him the best of luck with that problem.
Rowanda i'd be interested to have a chat with you about your 530 you can call me on 0400 384 084. your right in sayin best way to decide is spend a day in one.
Cheers Adam.
